Workplace Donations
Employees can donate to the United Way by giving through payroll
deduction. You can give as little as $1 a week or as much as you would
like. It is like giving up one soda pop or one candy bar a week.
A workplace campaign is easy to coordinate. The community reaps the
rewards of people making a difference in someone’s life. A United Way
representative will meet with you to discuss the details and benefits of
giving.
What does it entail?
- Attend employee campaign coordinator training provided by the
United Way.
- Recruit an enthusiastic campaign team.
- Establish a company goal and timeline.
- Run an educational and fun campaign.
- Make sure the employees are
educated about the United Way and have an opportunity to fill out a
pledge card.
- Thank all employees who have contributed.
